Complexions Contemporary Ballet” brings together many different artists. Like their home base of New York, the company is a mix of experience, culture, race and background.

Combining this with their myriad of influences from film, photography, TV, fashion, poetry, theatre, urban street dance and pop culture, they developed a potent and relevant form of contemporary dance.
Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson, both former performers with the legendary Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre, created the Company.
With their melting pot of ethnicity, cues from popular culture and a strong sense of dance history, Complexions is Ballet for the 21st century.”
