Joyeux anniversaire de 1er trimestre mon coeur !
Happy 1st quarter birthday sweetie pie!

Trois mois déjà qu’Etienne est entré dans notre vie… (sans compter la grossesse pour moi)
Etienne came into our lives three months ago already… (without counting my pregnancy)

Il mesure 65 cms pour 7 kgs, un grand bébé futur nageur car nous l’emmenons aux bébés nageurs début février. Notre petit poisson adore l’eau et fait déjà plein de vagues dans le bain
He is 65cms tall and weighs 7kgs, one big baby and future swimmer as we are going to take him to baby swimmers at the beginning of February. Our little fish loves being in the water and splashes happily in the bath

Il ne parle pas encore et ne sait pas marcher mais il blogue déjà : eh oui, il a son site sur Blogger le p’tit bout !!
He doesn’t talk yet and cannot walk, but he is already blogging… yep, the little one’s got his own site!!

Gates vs. GM
 
For all of us who feel only the deepest love and affection for the way computers have enhanced our lives, read on.
 
At a recent computer expo (COMDEX), Bill Gates reportedly compared the computer industry with the auto industry and stated,
 
‘If GM had kept up with technology like the computer industry has, we would all be driving $25.00 cars that got 1,000 miles to the gallon.’

In response to Bill’s comments, General Motors issued a press release stating:
 
If GM had developed technology like Microsoft, we would all be driving cars with the following characteristics (and I just love this part):
 
1. For no reason whatsoever, your car would crash…….Twice a day.
 
2. Every time they repainted the lines in the road, you would have to buy a new car.
 
3. Occasionally your car would die on the freeway for no reason. You would have to pull to the side of the road, close all of the windows, shut off the car, restart it, and reopen the windows before you could continue. For some reason you would simply accept this.
 
4. Occasionally, executing a maneuver such as a left turn would cause your car to shut down and refuse to restart, in which case you would have to reinstall the engine.
 
5. Macintosh would make a car that was powered by the sun, was reliable, five times as fast and twice as easy to drive - but would run on only five percent of the roads.
 
6. The oil, water temperature, and alternator warning lights would all be replaced by a single ‘This Car Has Performed An Illegal Operation’ warning light.

7. The airbag system would ask ‘Are you sure?’ before deploying.
 
8. Occasionally, for no reason whatsoever, your car would lock you out and refuse to let you in until you simultaneously lifted the door handle, turned the key and grabbed hold of the radio antenna.
 
9. Every time a new car was introduced car buyers would have to learn how to drive all over again because none of the controls would operate in the same manner  as the old car.
 
10. You’d have to press the ‘Start’ button to turn the engine off.

Le 4e type, celui des blogs ! France to Australia meets 6 Feet Down Under… le scoop!!

Vive la technologie qui fait bien les choses ! Milie la blogueuse sydneysideuse, de passage à Melbourne, est venue rendre visite à Zazou (oui je parle de moi à la 3e personne et alors?!?), blogueuse melbournienne, et c’était super sympa de faire connaissance. Etienne a bien essayé de conquérir le coeur de Milie en jactant et souriant non-stop, mais bon elle est quand même repartie vers Tom (son chéri) le soir venu… 

Etienne a “piqué sa crise” (chouiné un peu quoi) après le départ de Milie, trop d’excitation, Monsieur ne voulait pas dormir et se demandait où avait bien pu disparaître sa jolie copine Ah les petits garçons c’est du boulot croyez-moi ! Quelques chansons de heavy metal plus tard et Babychou était plongé dans un sommeil profond. Les berceuses, ça me connaît moi !

Bon, Milie, on remet ça quand tu veux, et on va voir Dung et Steph ensemble alors ? Après la naissance de Bébé “Stephung” ? *Hint*Hint*Hint* les gars !!

Kookynet, quand tu nous tiens !!

Quel bonheur (inexprimable) de retrouver Martine et Robert à Sydney pour marquer le passage vers une nouvelle et espérons, bonne, année. Cela faisait un bail, comme on dit, depuis mars. Tout était comme si on s’était quittés la veille et même si on n’a pas pu les rejoindre en Nouvelle-Zélande (bébé oblige) c’est formidable de pouvoir se retrouver dans la capitale (je plaisante, c’est Canberra) de l’Australie.

Dois-je vous parler de la somptueuse suite dans laquelle ont “échoué” nos amis? Pas mal je dois dire… beaux peignoirs, belles pantoufles, claaassssse… j’attends de voir les photos de Pascal prises au bord de la piscine… hi hi.

Bref, on a aussi passé une excellente soirée sushi, mille mercis. Et la balade à Paddington était très chouette.

C’était le premier vol de monsieur Etienne, qui a pris son biberon (de lait maternel tiré avec amour) au décollage et dormait comme un ange à l’atterrissage… ouf. Le retour a également été sans histoire à part qu’une petite d’environ 2 ans (les Terrible Twos comme on les appelle) hurlait à nous décoller les tympans, ce qui  a pu stresser notre poussinet d’amour areuh gouzi balala.

PS : Merci pour la carte que je viens de recevoir, ah la Nelle-Zélande c’est grandiose, j’ai hâte de visiter !!!!!
